You’ll be
able to get an idea of my painting style by going to the page ‘portfolio’.

If you like
my painting style and you decide to let me make a portrait for you, you can fill
in the online application form and
send it to my e-mail address (order@geschilderdportret.nl) along
with the digital photograph of the person to be portrayed.
This is how
it works:
1 - You
send the completed form and the digital photograph to my e-mail address.
2 - I shall
let you know as soon as possible by e-mail whether the photograph is suitable,
what the production time will be, the possible waiting time and all relevant
details of the oil portrait. I’ll also let you know the total cost and the
initial payment.
3 - If you
agree with these terms, you’ll provide the initial payment; after I receive the
money, I will send you an order confirmation.
4 - As soon
as the painting is finished, I shall send you a digital photograph of the
painting by e-mail. If you are content, you pay the rest of the money and I
send the portrait - carefully packaged - to the address you supplied. If you
are not fully satisfied, please contact me and discuss what you want to be
altered. I will then try to make it more satisfactory to you. If you are
completely dissatisfied, you will let me know, and you owe me nothing else. Of
course you will not receive the painting in that case.
5 - After
the sending of the portrait, I cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of
the painting.
6 - In all
cases I remain the copyright owner. You allow me to publish a photograph of the
portrait as an example of my work of art on my website.
7 - I cannot
be held responsible if someone claims that the portrait is a violation of any
right. Claims can only be laid on the buyer.
The price
of the portrait depends on the size.
With one
person to be portrayed the total price (packaging & postage & assurance included) for commissions outside
the
€ 280 (or US $ 310 or £ 205) for a portrait of 40 cm x 30 cm (init.
paym.: € 70 or $ 75 or £ 50)
€ 300 (or US $ 330 or £ 220) for a portrait of 40 cm x 40 cm (init. paym.: € 75 or $ 85 or £ 55)
€ 320 (or US $ 350 or £ 235) for a portrait of 50 cm x 40 cm (init. paym.: € 80 or $ 90 or £ 60)
